Okay, I'm still working on the Superman post, so let your mind be completely blown by concepts like big-budget Superman movies from studios other than The Vast Time-Warner Empire and don't stink as a result.

As a complete aside, did anyone catch the first episode of "Back to You" this week? The one starring Fraiser Crane by any other name and the wife from "Everybody Loves Raymond"? I mention it only because the big series-defining twist in that one was IDENTICAL to the one in Superman Returns. I mention this only because the thought occurred to me while typing.

It's time for the main point to this post. Remember my experiment with the free e-book downloading site Wowio? Well, it's been a couple of weeks, and my super-secret non-free email address is still spam-free. They haven't even sent me any sort of "If you like that, may we suggest this" messages.
