While I'm Thinking About It

A Winner is Me!

Am I safe in assuming that most of you know about NaNoWriMo, the National Novel Writing Month? 50,000 words of fiction in thirty days, during a month which includes both Thanksgiving and Black Friday? It's one of those things (like the 24-Hour Comic) that I would like to participate in, but generally don't feel like I have the time. Most years.

This year, however, I hit upon a loophole.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

A panel is a single picture.

Today's Panel Four is the fiftieth panel I've posted this month. Fifty times one thousand equals, the last time I checked, fifty thousand. As a result, I'm officially declaring myself a NaNoWriMo Winner!

Okay, not really. Even Ioan Gruffudd and all the computers ILM could muster would have trouble with that much of a stretch. So even though I'm not going to the official site and claiming anything, I am letting myself have the fun of thinking like that.
