While I'm Thinking About It

While I'm Thinking About It

Some Gory Details

A clarification, if I may. The prices I quote below include all appropriate shipping charges.

First of all, I am offering original artwork for sale. Sixty dollars gets you the strip of your choice (with a handful of caveats I'll get to in a moment), both the original artwork and a high-resolution, black and white print of the finished version (regardless of whether or not version in the archives is colored), redone if necessary to match my current standards. Which really just means I'll be using dialogue balloons and one of the Komika fonts. If you want one of those older strips with the shaded border, your print will have the shaded border. If you want a gold-bordered one, it'll have the gold border. Eighty dollars will get you the strip of your choice and a high-resolution print in color (those handful of colored strips in the archives weren't generally produced with print in mind).

The earliest strips were done on genuine two-ply bristol board, in a rather diverse variety of sizes. More recently, I've been using Wasau's 67 lb. Vellum Bristol, which, while being a bit thinner than the "professional" stuff, still holds a good line. These are all 8.5"x11".

Some strips aren't available. If it features characters I didn't create, either because of cameo or crossover, I'd rather not profit off those. Unless you created the characters in question, in which case I'll make you a deal. Strips where I indulged the inborn webcartoonist's fondness for the Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V keypresses generally aren't available, nor are those that make use of extensive filter and/or cgi effects. Timestream/reality distortion field effects are available, with the caveat that the print may not perfectly match what's in the archives (again, many of these were produced in low-res, screen-only resolutions). While I've tried to take care of the physical artwork, there's no guarantee I actually have all of them, and some may have been damaged. If that's the case, I'll let you know. Also, first come, first served.

If you're intested, send me an email. Not at the one above, but a special one I've set up for this sort of thing: cartoonist at this website.
